Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - The Anaheim Ducks signed defenseman Danny Syvret to a one-year contract on Wednesday. The 25-year-old Syvret has two goals and three assists in 49 career NHL games with Edmonton and Philadelphia. His first career goal was the Flyers' lone score in the 2010 Winter Classic on New Year's Day, a 2-1 overtime loss to Boston at Fenway Park. He was originally drafted by the Oilers in the third round (81st overall) of the 2005 draft.
